Ralph McGill

Ralph McGill and Gene Patterson were perhaps the greatest one-two punch in the history of newspaper editorial and column writing. Each wrote a signed column every single day during the classic period of the Civil Rights movement for the pages of the Atlanta Constitution. Together they helped move the white South toward change. Their work continues to be an inspiration to this day.
