Hiroshima by John Hersey
The John Hersey's book, Hiroshima, is a story for The New Yorker about the terrible effects of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Beyond that, in February 1999, NYU's journalism department published a list of the "Top 100 Works of Journalism in the United States in the 20th Century." Hiroshima places first. I think Hiroshima is the first in the world and should be nominee work of journalism.
